Description

YP pick a card with 2 "food waste" items on at random and the have to come up with a dish they could make to use up these items.

Instructions

Split troop into pairs or threes. Each team should draw a card at random.

YP need to design a dish using the items on their card and the items in the basic larder detailed on the card (they can research online if they would like to). They should then work together to produce a step by step recipe on how they would make their dish.

YP then present their dish to the rest of the troop and if you want you could get everyone to vote on who's dish is the best.
