Setup

1. Print out or write the below letters, one letter per sheet of A4, then lay out in one corner (or outside!) in the following grid, ensuring it’s aligned North-South:

2. Print off the 2nd page of the document. Give the questions to the Beavers, keep the answers!

Resources

A compass to find out where North is.
Some space.
Pens/pencils.
Print outs of the attached - one copy of the answers, one copy per Beaver/lodge of the questions.

Instructions

Either individually or as a lodge let one young person have a go at following the instructions and telling you the word it spells.
Let the other Beavers correct them if they choose the wrong compass point.
