Description

Started evening with Save the Princess (elsewhere on OSM)
Then split pack - one part did Stations using the excellent proforma from www.thedarkimp.com using words associated with St George
whilst rest built quintains (lash two bamboo canes together, place upright in christmas tree stand and put a paper plate on the horizontal)
and knights' charger (platform dolly truck with two ropes on front) with piping insulation lance

Instructions

Stations - print off the six stations on A4 paper and attach in different places around or outside hut
give each player a starting word (you have nine starting words on the master list)
don't let players work together unless they are tied together
each station has two columns of words
find the starting word on the left hand column and look across to the right hand one for the next one to find
as the player finds words they make a list
when they get to FINISH they run back to the leader in charge who will check them
Discuss the words they find in roughly order and why they are on the list. (legend, history, patron saints of.. and characteristics)
