French cricket is ideal for small groups or teams


Instructions
• One Brownie is chosen to be the Batswoman
• She must stand still with the bat held in front of her legs
• The object of the game is for the ball to touch the Batswoman’s legs
• The Batswoman defends herself with the bat, but must not move her feet
• The rest of the team are the bowlers
• They stand in a small circle around the Batswoman (About three metres away from her)
• Each Brownie takes it in turn to gently bowl at the Batswoman’s legs
• Batswoman tries to hit the ball away from her legs with the bat
• If the ball touches the Batswoman legs she is replaced by the bowler.
• If she hits the ball and it is caught, the Brownie catching the ball becomes the Batswoman
