Description

Cubs will create and test their own paper aeroplanes, competing for distance and design creativity.

Resources

- A4 paper for each Cub
- Measuring tape for distance

Instructions

1. Provide each Cub with a sheet of A4 paper.
2. Demonstrate a basic paper aeroplane design.
3. Allow Cubs time (15 minutes) to design and decorate their aeroplanes.
4. Once ready, head outdoors for the flying competition.
5. Set up a starting point for launching the planes.
6. Cubs will take turns throwing their planes and measure how far they fly.
7. Award prizes for the:
- Furthest flight
- Most creative design
- Best teamwork in making the plane
