This activity pack is primarily designed to accompany the Knighton Heath geocaching series, which has been laid by Broadstone Scout Group for the purpose of helping scout complete the badge while appreciating the heath and its conservation projects

Access to a OSmap of the heath (eg OSmaps online)

Instructions

Follow the attached guide, set in 3 stages. aim to put aside 20mins to prep, then 2-3hrs to complete the hike around the heath. to complete the badge the scouts will need to each make a cache and as a group hide two. this can be done alongside other activities/meetings
Please avoid geocaching on the heath in the dark, as this may disturb ground nesting birds and wildlife.
