Nature Hunt Walk
Duration: 20–30 minutes
Squirrels will use their nature hunt worksheet to explore the outdoors. Working together, they'll search for and identify different natural items such as leaves, flowers, birds, insects, trees, and other things they can see, hear, or touch in nature. Along the way, they'll be encouraged to observe their surroundings, talk about what they find, and share their discoveries with the group.

Instructions

Encourage squirrels to work together, use their senses, and discuss what they find. Finish with a quick group chat about their favourite discovery from the walk. This activity supports the Explore Outdoors badge requirement to explore an outdoor environment and share what they found.
