All about me activity for Squirrels. Good for introducing new Squirrels at the start of the term and everyone learning about each other.

Resources

'All about me' worksheet attached
Colouring Sheet
Cut out Squirrels
Felt tip pens/pencils etc.

Instructions

As Squirrels enter they are given colouring sheet to complete as others arrive. New Squirrels are given a cut out Squirrel to colour for the register tree.
Once everyone has arrived complete opening ceremony as usual
Give out 'All about me' worksheet, They may need help filling in name birthday etc. Explain that they can write or draw their favourite toy, hobby etc.
Break for Snack and Story
After break Squirrels can continue either 'All about me' sheet or colouring from start
If time play name game - Squirrels & Leaders/YLs stand in a circle and roll a ball to someone across the circle saying their name. Leaders/YLs try to ensure all Squirrels are in cluded so that everyones name gets said a lot and so learnt
