Description
Young people will work together to create, collect and prepare gifts for members of their local community. Through thoughtful gift-giving they will demonstrate kindness, empathy and practical action while contributing to Dunelm's Delivering Joy campaign. Once completed, leaders will return the gifts to the local Dunelm store for distribution through community partners.

Instructions
1. Explain that today is the action stage of the project and that the group will be preparing gifts for people in the local community.
2. Review the chosen gift requests and remind everyone who the gifts are intended for.
3. Organise the group into small teams.
Teams can:
- Create handmade gifts.
- Gather donated items.
- Prepare purchased gifts.
- Decorate gift bags if desired.
4. Encourage everyone to think about how receiving a gift might make the recipient feel.
5. Discuss how even small acts of kindness can have a significant impact on someone's Christmas.
6. Ensure each gift matches the request shown on its tag.
7. Attach the correct Delivering Joy tag to each gift or gift bag.
8. Check gifts against campaign guidance before placing them in the collection area.
9. Gather together and review everything the group has achieved.
10. Explain that leaders will return the completed gifts to the local Dunelm store, where they will be combined with other donations and distributed through local schools, charities, care homes and refuges to people who have requested support.
11. Finish with a short reflection on how the group's actions will help members of the local community and why supporting others is important.
