Description

Under trained supervision by external instructors, take single or double sea kayaks out for a paddle around the coastline, learning about the geology and local area including bird habitats and the environmental impact of human coastal activity. To include practice session and safety training including capsize practice. Possibility for some games and races if the Scouts are feeling confident enough.

Resources

Suitable clothing for getting wet - helmets, buoyancy aids, paddles and kayaks provided by activity centre staff.
