The Squirrels search the Drey to find all the hidden badges.

Resources

Hide 10–15 badge cards around the room. Include a mix of:

Use real badges or print/laminate badge pictures.

Instructions

How to Play
Gather everyone together and announce:
“I’ve got a problem… the badges have escaped! They’ve hidden all around our Drey. Can you help me find them?”
Let them search. When they find a badge, they bring it back to a leader.
Once all badges are found, sit everyone down.

The Reveal
Show one badge at a time and ask:
“What do you think this badge is for?”
Let them guess, then explain in one simple sentence. Example:
“This is the Story Time badge. You can earn it by doing lots of fun things with stories!”
Display the badges somewhere visible.

Add the Silly Bit
Act out each badge together:
• Artist — “Everybody pretend you’re painting!”
• Gardener — “Everybody dig!”
• Story Time — “Everybody pretend to read!”
• Emergency Aid — “Someone’s fallen over! What do we do?”
• Let’s Celebrate — “CELEBRATION DANCE!”
(Expect chaos. The good kind.)
