Description

Members will learn to make two different types of slime and experiment with various add-ins.

Instructions

1. Gather Ingredients: Prepare the following for each type of slime: PVA glue, baking soda, contact lens solution, and optional add-ins (glitter, foam beads, food colouring).
2. Make the Slime:
- Basic Slime: In a bowl, mix 1 cup of PVA glue with 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Stir well. Gradually add contact lens solution while stirring until it begins to thicken.
- Fluffy Slime: Combine 1 cup of PVA glue with 2 cups of shaving foam and mix. Add food colouring and gradually incorporate contact lens solution until it reaches the desired consistency.

3. Add Fun Ingredients: Encourage members to add glitter or foam beads, then mix thoroughly.
4. Knead the Slime: Once thick, have members knead the slime until smooth.
5. Clean Up: Ensure all surfaces and hands are cleaned after the activity.
