Description

Ball bit balls have all been labeled with different items which would each go in a different household bin for recycling.

Cubs have to build zip wire transport lines and carry cups lined up to different buckets at the other end of the hall.

They need to work out which bin each item should go into, then using team work, transport that item to the correct bucket.

Resources

Plastic cups
Washing line
String
Cable ties.
Ball bit balls
List of items.

Instructions

Label each ball pit ball with an item.

4 bins at the end of the hall - Plastic, Cardboard, Food, Landfill.

4 lines of washing line.
4 large plastic cups.
4 pieces of string to act as a handle
4 cable ties to work as a low-resistance runner.

Pierce holes either side of the cup - thread string through to act as a handle and tie.

1 cub needs to stand next to each bin with one end of the washing line.

Cubs need to load their cups with an item for each bin and send it down to the partner at the bin. once complete they must reverse the wire to send the cup back up for the next player.
