Building a Rescue Travois

Description

Scouts use midi pioneering skills to construct an indigenous Travois to rescue and pull someone along a set trail or track. They use two main wooden staves and then shorter strong sticks lashed crossways to form a large A shape. They need to successfully pull someone a set distance.

Resources

2 8ft wooden staves.
4-6 shorter cross sticks.
5 - 8mm rope.
