Instructions

Guide dogs live with people who are sight impaired.
A guide dog's job is to help their partner get around safely. It's all about teamwork and trust.
A guide dog helps their partner walk safely in public places, guides them around objects and people,
avoid trip hazards, find kerbs, and locate shop doors and crossings.
Having a guide dog can help their partner to feel more confident and independent.
People who are 16 and older can have a guide dog. There are buddy dogs for children that are trained to
behave well and help children who are sight impaired to feel more confident. (Show picture of Ellis and
his buddy dog, Ralph.)
