Aim
This activity will help girls to learn about caring for the planet and to encourage simple, [practical actions they can take to protect nature and the environment

Opening Activity Option 2
Instructions
• Ask the girls to sit or stand in a circle.
• Hold up a ball or soft toy and explain that it represents the Earth.
• Tell the group they will pass the “planet” around the circle.
• Each time a girl receives the ball/soft toy, she shares one idea before passing it on.

For Ladybirds: Ask each girl to name one thing she loves about the planet. Examples: flowers, animals, beaches, trees.
