Play dough or salt dough
sticks, twigs, leaves, straw
cardboard base to build the lodge on.

Instructions

After looking at pictures and film of Beaver lodges and discussion about how they make them. The children work in their lodge groups to make a beaver lodge using play dough or salt dough, they stick in straw, twigs, leaves and anything else they think will help it look like a beaver lodge. Use a piece of cardboard as the base to work on.
