Description

Construct a Volcano around a 2L diet coke bottle, drop in the mints and watch it explode!

Resources

X1 two litre diet coke bottles per patrol (always a good idea to have a few extra incase one gets spils)
X1 pack of mentos mints per patrol
What ever materials you want to use to make your volcano out of

Instructions

-Construct a volcano (using materials of your choice) around a 2L DIET coke bottle (MUST be 'diet' coke for explosion to work properly!!).
-When volcano is constructed, drop in 3 or 4 mentos mints (MUST be mentos 'mint' for explosion to work properly) and have a competition to see who's volcano makes the biggest explosion. (the more mints you drop in, the bigger the explosion)
-Best to do this activity OUTSIDE as the coke will make a mess!
