Aim of Badge To take on an engineering challenge and to show that engineering is for everyone
This Badge has 3 options of which 3 must be completed

Engineering is Everywhere Poster
Introduction
This activity will help the Brownies to think about what engineering is and what engineers do.

Instructions
• Photocopy posters (see overleaf)
• Divide the Unit into groups of 3/4
• Give each a poster, pencil and paper
• Brownies try to list as many examples of engineering as possible that they can see
• Bring Brownies back into Pow -Wow

Discuss
 Share their findings with the Unit
 Were they amazed at how engineering touches so many aspects of our lives without our noticing!
 The intention is not for the Brownies to be absolutely precise in their answers but to get them thinking, seeing and questioning
 Leader shares typical examples.
